Harbin Landscape Design How to determine the theme:
1. Select point layout to determine the theme
(a) Point selection layout. Selecting a site is Xiangdi, which refers to the selection, survey and evaluation of the park site. The selection of gardens and green spaces is often associated with natural landscapes, ancient and famous trees, history and culture. The garden green space should be built in a place with beautiful scenery and scenic spots. However, in many cases, the idea and reality of garden construction are not satisfactory, such as the construction of urban gardens. Therefore, it is necessary for garden builders to survey the garden site, have a detailed understanding of the landform, make a scientific evaluation of the garden site conditions, listen to various opinions, and take a scientific and prudent attitude towards the selection of the garden site.
The garden is famous for its scenery. The scenery is different from the garden. The layout forms and types of various gardens are diverse, but they all have certain organizational structures and form their own landscape characteristics. In the layout of garden and green space, we should fully grasp the characteristics of the original natural style, boldly make appropriate transformation, organize tailoring, and make scientific, artistic, and reasonable arrangements for buildings, roads, rocks, and plants. We should make full use of our strengths and circumvent our weaknesses in the treatment of terrain and geomorphology.
(b) Determine the subject. The nature and function of gardens are the decisive factors that affect the theme determination. Because the nature and function of gardens are different, the content, layout, style, planning and design methods are also different. Therefore, before determining a theme, it is necessary to understand the position, nature, function, scale and service objects of new gardens in the whole urban green space system. The theme is determined by the nature of gardens. Different types of green space have different themes. The classical gardens in Suzhou are private gardens for wealthy businessmen and frustrated politicians who resign from their posts and go into seclusion, so the themes are more or less personal, such as the Humble Administrator's Garden and Lingering Garden in Suzhou. The Northern Royal Garden is the place where ancient emperors discussed, ruled and lived. The majesty, holiness and supremacy of emperors are vividly displayed, such as the Palace Museum's Begging for New Year Palace, and the Buddhist Pavilion on Longevity Hill of the Summer Palace. The theme and the subject have the same meaning, and the theme lies in the subject. For example, the theme of the wind lotus in Hangzhou Quyuan is lotus, which can be found all over the country. The difference is that it is more poetic and picturesque to watch the lotus in this particular environment. The lotus pond becomes the main body of the park, and the theme lotus resides in the theme lotus pond.
2. Divide the space for functional zoning. After the theme (main body) is determined, several zones shall be divided according to the landform characteristics and functional requirements. Each partition is a specific space with different styles. Each space has a local composition center in the plane composition, but the local composition center should obey the composition theme of the whole garden. According to the nature of garden green space, a certain form of functional zoning is carried out. To meet the needs of people of different levels, genders and ages. For square design, according to people's different needs and different activities, the site should be properly divided to adapt to people of different ages, different interest levels, and different cultural levels. There should be not only a large comprehensive space, but also a small space suitable for decentralized activities of small groups and individuals. Dividing space is a design technique that changes the large into the small and integrates the whole into zero. It is necessary to avoid mutual interference, large space and excessive fragmentation.
3. Scenery partition. In the garden, natural or artificial scenery is used to form a scenic spot, which is composed of several scenic spots, and then the whole garden green space is composed of scenic spots. Scenic spots can be large or small, ranging from a mountain, a water body, a building, to a pavilion, a tree, and a stone. The scenic spots composed of scenic spots should have different scenic features.
The scenery partition should match the use requirements of the functional partition to enhance the effect of the functional requirements. However, the scenic area may not be completely consistent with the land use scope of the functional area. Sometimes, it needs to be staggered to form different landscapes in the same functional area, so that the viewing landscape can be varied, rhythmic, vivid and interesting, giving visitors different artistic feelings with different landscapes. Scenic areas can be divided into the following categories: according to the natural terrain and scenic characteristics, there are alpine scenic spots, water scenic spots, cheerful scenic spots, deep scenic spots, quiet areas, noisy areas, etc. According to the four seasons and plant materials, there are spring scenery, summer scenery, autumn scenery and winter scenery. There are maple trees, pomegranate garden, peony garden, chrysanthemum garden, etc.
